Preseason preparations are well underway in Limerick as Munster look to build on their promising 2016/2017 season as they look to go one step further in both European and domestic competition this year.
Although the overall mood has been soured with the news that Rassie Erasmus and Jacques Nienaber will be departing the southern province at Christmas – fans can still be excited especially with the likes of James Hart, Chris Farrell, JJ Hanrahan, Chris Cloete and Gerbrandt Grobler all set to feature for the men in red this season.
They will do so in a brand new home jersey which Munster Rugby have just unveiled and we must say it looks incredible.
The jersey contains the latin phrase ‘forte fideli nihil difficil’ or to the brave and faithful nothing is impossible.
Munster Rugby Head of Commercial and Marketing, Enda Lynch, said, “As we return to an all-red home kit, Adidas have once again led the way in design and innovation in marking the province’s heritage through the inclusion of the club’s motto and nod to the stag, while also referencing our community ties with the map feature across the training range.”
The jersey will be on sale from July 24.
