Make Some Money This Weekend With Our Premiership Rugby Predictions

The Premiership rugby season continues to excite after Round 5 threw up some more interesting results. Ahead of Round 6, we take a look at this weekend’s fixtures and tell you who you should put your money behind for the matches which will take place over the coming days, with leovegas.com

The five-fold accumulator

Yep, we’re going big this week but we think the fixtures involved here are relatively safe so this one should pay off. We’re going for Harlequins to overcome Sale, Bath to beat Worcester Warriors at home, Northampton Saints to get a win over Gloucester at Kingsholm, the Leicester Tigers to beat London Irish at the Madejski, and finally, Saracens to win at home to Wasps.

Quins and Sale have both just recorded two wins so far in this season’s campaign and although Sale hammered Gloucester last week, we think Quins will have too much for them at the Stoop. Bath looked very good in their away win over Wasps at the Ricoh and at the Rec, there is only one result on the cards when they play a poor Worcester Warriors side.

The Saints have been a revelation this season and currently top the table. Gloucester won’t be as poor as they were last weekend but we don’t think it will be enough to beat the league-leaders.

The Tigers beat the champions at home at the weekend and the confidence from that results should result in another victory against a side who have just recorded one win this season. Finally, a mouth-watering clash between Saracens and last year’s beaten finalists, Wasps. Wasps have been poor this season and Sarries have been going about their business efficiently without overly impressing. Dai Young’s side have a raft of injuries at the moment and we can’t see them winning at Allianz Park.

A £10 bet will offer £35 in return. Do it.

Newcastle Falcons 14.5

Who would have thought the Falcons would be second and ahead of the Exeter Chiefs at this stage of the season. The Falcons make the long journey from Tyneside to Sandy Park but even though Dean Richards’ side have proven critics wrong thus far, we don’t think they will beat the Chiefs at their fortress.

However, we do think it will be a tight game and we don’t expect Exeter will win by more than 14 points. You can back the Falcons with the handicap and a £10 bet will give you £18.20 return. Sounds good to us.
