The Ireland Squad We Think Joe Schmidt Will Name Tomorrow

Joe Schmidt is expected to name his Ireland squad tomorrow for the upcoming November internationals against Italy, Argentina, New Zealand and the USA.

With so many Irish players performing very well for the provinces this season, this will likely be one of the most difficult squads Schmidt has had to name in his tenure.

Schmidt named a 38-man squad for the 2017 November internationals, a 36-man squad for the 2018 Six Nations and most recently, a 35-man squad for the summer tour against the Wallabies.

Joe Schmidt and Ireland

With so many players playing well and due to the fact that the fixture list contains a match against Tier 2 opposition in the form of the USA, we believe Schmidt will go for an extended 38-man squad to run the rule over those who are on the fringes.
