Stat: If Julian Savea Scores, The Wallabies Should Maybe Get A Little Worried

Julian Savea is two things. An undoubted try scoring machine and a very luck charm for the All Blacks too. Allow us to explain.

Julian Savea has scored a lot of tries for the All Blacks, thirty-eight to be precise. In only forty matches at that. And that in itself should be a worry for Australia. But there a couple of stats that really don’t help the Wallabies either.

The All Blacks have won every game that Julian Savea has scored in for nearly the last three years. In fact they’ve only ever lost a single game that Julian Savea has scored in. That’s eighteen matches played and only one loss. That loss came on December 1st 2012, away to England. In Twickenham no less.

Currently Savea is on a thirteen game run of winning matches he scores in. Will he make it fourteen against the Wallabies at the weekend?
