Rhys Webb The Unsuspecting Victim Of Hilarious Brian O’Driscoll Tweet

The rivalry between Ireland and Wales is undoubtedly a fierce one but has more often than not been a good natured one.

And what with all this newfangled technology we now have access to, the jibes back and forth between the two countries can extend beyond any pitch or stadium.

Taking to Twitter on Monday following the Lions’ first tour meet-up, Ireland legend Brian O’Driscoll spotted an opportunity too easy to pass up.

On this occasion Rhys Webb was the recipient of some well intentioned jesting from the former Leinster man, as he noticed something about the 28-year-old in the first Lions team photo.

Webb has yet to respond to the taunt but there will surely be some kind of rebuttal in the coming days or weeks as the Lions tour approaches.

Meanwhile, Webb has domestic attentions to focus on with Ospreys before heading to New Zealand with a Pro12 play-off game to focus on away to Munster the weekend after next, having been heavily defeated by Scarlets in their final game of the regular season last weekend.
