The recently relegated Midlands side (now known as Birmingham Moseley) have pulled off a significant transfer coup by signing Scotland centre Alex Grove from Worcester.
Despite being demoted down to National League One this season, Grove has committed to Birmingham Moseley and will come as a big boost to the club as they begin their first season outside of the top two flights of English rugby for the first time since 2006.
Grove has 3 caps for Scotland and last played for his country back in 2009 against Argentina at Murrayfield, when his side narrowly lost to the Pumas.

Birmingham Moseley will be hoping Grove can help Kevin Maggs’ squad seek immediate promotion back to the Championship, but they face significant challenges from the likes of Hartbury College, Blackheath and Ampthill, who all finished within a point of each other last season – with league champions Richmond gaining promotion.
Birmingham Moseley’s first fixture of the season is away against Fylde and they will be hoping to hit the ground running before they take on Midlands rivals Coventry the following weekend – their first home match of the season.
