Americas Rugby Championship Strikes Deal With ESPN And Rugby Channel

The second annual Americas Rugby Championship will be broadcast exclusively live on The Rugby Channel, with three North American-hosted games to be re-aired nationally on ESPN2, USA Rugby has announced.

Last year’s tournament champions Argentina will kick off their 2017 defence with a trip to Langford where they will take on Canada in their opening game.

The ARC includes six of North and South America’s top-ranked international rugby union sides: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, the U.S., and Uruguay, with the Rugby Channel to stream all five of the Eagles’ five tournament matches live beginning with the United States tournament opener with Uruguay on February 4.

ESPN will carry three of the Eagles’ matches on a delayed basis with the broadcaster to show replays of the United States games with Uruguay, Brazil and Canada across ESPN 2 and ESPN 3.
