All Blacks and Hurricanes star Jordie Barrett shows there really is no end to his talents as he nailed an extremely tough trick shot into a basketball hoop.
In the video, the barefoot 20-year-old back, who is currently out injured with a shoulder problem, strikes the ball sweetly off a kicking tee and sees it amazingly drop through the net from around 40 metres away.
Despite the finished product looking quite simple, the two-cap star, who started the crucial third Test against the Lions in July, didn’t pull off the masterstroke in one attempt. A caption on the video, which was posted on social media, says that the hugely-talented youngster took three hours and 253 attempts to pull off the feat.
The youngest of the three Barrett brothers, he missed the All Blacks’ latest Rugby Championship triumph after picking up the season-ending injury in August, after having been named in the original squad.
It’s not the first time the versatile New Plymouth-born star has pulled off such an eye-dropping piece of skill, having posted a variety of eye-popping videos showcasing his outstanding abilities.
If it took Barrett three hours and 253 attempts, anyone thinking of trying this at home, should prepare themselves for the long haul!
