Watch: South African Rugby Journalist Slams Springboks Coach Allister Coetzee

during the South Africa Springboks Captain's Run at QBE Stadium on September 15, 2017 in Auckland, New Zealand.

SA Rugby Magazine’s Ryan Vrede has criticised Allister Coetzee, his coaching staff and the Springbok players in a video posted on the magazine’s Facebook page.

Following South Africa’s humiliating 38-3 defeat to Ireland last Saturday, there has been plenty uproar over the performance and the state of South African rugby in general, with many South African news broadcasters suggesting that this overseas tour could be Coetzee’s last in charge of the Springboks.

In response to this, Vrede has made a three-minute long video in which he not only criticised Coetzee and the players but also mentioned how the South African public are quick to blame the “quota” system and race as the main cause of the Springboks’ problems.

Take a look at the video below:

I agree with everything he says. Over the past two seasons Coetzee, along with certain players within the squad, have proved that they cannot deal with the pressures of international rugby and the sooner they move on the better.
