Eddie Jones Makes Cuts As England Squad For Argentina Test Announced

England are currently preparing for their opening November International against Argentina this weekend. The Red Rose are looking to get their season off to the best possible start in Twickenham, as Eddie Jones continues to search for the right combination of players which he will bring to the World Cup in 2019.

Ahead of the clash with the Pumas, Jones has this evening announced his 26-man squad, and there are some high-profile cuts.

Denny Solomana, Piers Francis, Charlie Ewels, Nick Isiekwe, Zach Mercer, Sam Simmonds and Tom Dunn have all been dropped, and return to their club sides.

However, Jones is bolstered by the return of Elliot Daly and Jonny May, who have both recovered quicker than expected.
