After England were crowned under 20 world champions yesterday following their 45-21 win over Ireland, tournament organisers have today unveiled their dream team.

Included in the side are England’s impressive fly half, Harry Mallinder, alongside player of the tournament, Ireland’s Max Deegan.

As expected, England and Ireland dominate the team, with eight players selected between the two finalists. However, while four Irish forwards have been included, some might be disappointed not to see fullback, Jacob Stockdale, miss out.

Although New Zealand have dominated the tournament since it’s inception, the Baby Blacks did not live up to their reputation, and have only player selected, centre Jordi Barrett.

Monster Japanese winger, Ataata Moeakiola, was picked on the wing, joining South Africa’s Curwin Bosh and Edwill van der Merwe.

Finally, Scotland’s Hugh Fraser and Argentina’s Franco Molina and Georgia’s Lasha Tabidze complete a well rounded international selection.
