It had been rumoured that Danny Cipriani was on his way to France.

Throughout the last number of weeks, rumours linking Danny Cipriani with a move to France have been ever present across the channel.

First it was ambitious Pro D2 club Lyon who were said to be interested in the talented play maker, then it was the turn of Toulon.

Indeed, despite reported interest from Harlequins, it appeared that England were set to lose the divisive player.

However according to Rugby World journalist, Gavin Mortimer, Cipriani could be on the verge of making a shock return to Wasps.

While nothing concrete has been reported as of yet, Wasps fans will no doubt get excited over the prospect of seeing Cipriani partner Joe Simpson at half back.
