Watch: Conor McGregor Heading Back To Madison Square Garden For Michael Conlan Debut

After Conor McGregor made MMA history at Madison Square Garden last month, the Irishman is now set to return to the historic arena in support of another Irish fighter.

Having already developed a stellar reputation as an amateur, Michael Conlan is finally set to make his professional debut on St Patrick’s Day in New York.

However, if boxing fans weren’t already excited enough about Conlan’s big day, things got even better last night as the Belfast man confirmed on Twitter that he would be accompanied on the night in question by the ‘Notorious’ man himself.

Posting a picture of himself alongside his brother Jamie and McGregor, Conlan announced that the UFC champion will carry the Irish flag during the walkout for his first professional bout.

Conlan also later made the announcement with McGregor by his side at an event in Northern Ireland. Check out the wonderful moment and the rip-roaring fan reaction in the clip below;
