The Cast For The UFC’s TUF 25 Has Been Revealed

The 14 cast members for “The Ultimate Fighter 25” have been announced, and on the list are two former winners of the reality show, along with a current UFC welterweight coming off of back-to-back wins.

The winner of ”TUF 2” Joe ”Daddy” Stevenson (33-16 MMA, 8-8 UFC) returns for another shot at UFC glory, having left the organisation in 2011 on the back of a four-fight losing streak. He will be joined in the house by the ”TUF 19” champion, Eddie ”Truck” Gordon (8-4 MMA, 1-3 UFC). Irish fans may remember him as the winner of the season that featured SBG Ireland’s own Cathal Pendred.

The theme of this season of TUF is billed as ”Redemption”, the season will see former cast members return to the long-running reality show for a second shot at glory in the UFC welterweight division. The announced cast combines for 68 bouts worth of official UFC experience in addition to their respective exhibition contests on the show.

While most of the cast features athletes looking for a second trip to the octagon, James Krause (23-7 MMA, 4-3 UFC) boasts a two-fight winning streak in the UFC, with victories over Shane Campbell and Daron Cruickshank.

UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt and former champ T.J. Dillashaw serve as head coaches on the newest edition of the series. The combination of an experienced, high-calibre cast and the mutual dislike between the coaches should make for intriguing viewing.
