Irish MMA star Charlie Ward has lost to Galore Bofando at UFC Glasgow to suffer his second consecutive loss in the UFC, making his record 0-2 in the promotion.

The Scottish crowd were a witness to one the more rare and remarkable knockouts seen inside the Octagon.

The SBG fighter was defeated after just two minutes, 10 seconds into the bout, after Bofando threw him to the canvas, knocking him out in the process.

The face-down landing did the damage, moving Ward’s MMA record to 3-3.

This follows a loss in his UFC debut to Abdul Razak Alhassan in Belfast back in November of last year, and now leaves serious question marks around the Dubliner’s future with the promotion.

His SBG teammate, welterweight Gunnar Nelson, headlines the card against Argentine Nelson Ponzinibbio.
