Watch: ‘Conor Will Knock Your Son Out’ – Skip Bayless To Floyd Mayweather Snr

According to Skip Bayless, Conor McGregor’s skill and will cannot be overlooked by Floyd Mayweather – and he predicted a stunning victory for the Irishman.

Floyd Mayweather Snr has been a regular guest on Fox Sports show Skip & Shannon: Undisputed in the build-up to his son’s much-anticipated fight against Conor McGregor at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, August 26.

It is true to say that he knows his son better than anyone else. Famously, they have had their disputes in the past when uncle Rodger Mayweather was Floyd Jr’s trainer from 2000 to 2012. However, it now seems that there father son relationship is stronger than ever.

Undisputed host Bayless who is an avid supporter of McGregor in the contest believing the UFC lightweight champ will force an early stoppage is quoted as saying to Floyd Snr last night on the show:

“I’m gonna lay it out for you, Conor will knock your son out because it’s the only way Conor is gonna win this fight,”

“Your son is gonna underestimate what’s about to hit him both in will and skill.

“This guy [McGregor] is crazy. He’s crazy.”

Floyd Snr who is a world-renowned and well-respected trainer having worked with champion boxers such as Oscar de la Hoya, Ricky Hatton and indeed his son and namesake Floyd Jr. The former professional welterweight remained collected in his response by saying:

“Bring him on, that’s the way Floyd likes them”

He was earlier quoted as saying:

“You going to see something you’ve never seen before”

All this emphasises the confidence he has in his son.
