Watch: ‘It Was All A Dream’ – Incredible New Conor McGregor Promo

Having announced in a 2008 interview that he would one day be the UFC lightweight champion of the world, eight years later, Conor McGregor was exactly that.

After defeating Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 back in November, news emerged shortly thereafter that Conor McGregor would be taking a prolonged break from the octagon as he awaits the birth of his first child with long time partner, Dee Devlin.

The decision was apparently made while taking into account the undue stress that it causes Devlin, as explained by Dana White in a recent UFC unfiltered podcast.

“His girl gets super stressed out when he fights.”

“He doesn’t want her having any of that stress while she’s pregnant. He’s good. He should take time off. He’s been fighting nonstop.”

“Nothing wrong with him taking time off. It’s good for him and her, and it’s good for the baby.”

Although Conor has since refuted White’s claims of a ten month lay off, the popular consensus still seems to be that we won’t see the Irishman in action again until the summer at the earliest. In the meantime however, the Dublin native still seems to be a huge talking point and, on Tuesday morning, a phenomenal promo focusing on the SBG man’s achievements began to make waves online.

Including a number of snippets of his partner, Devlin, one intriguing moment shows the Irishwoman talking about the first time she saw her longtime partner fighting.

‘The first time I went to see Conor fight, ever, it was 50 people in a room, around a ring and I thought, I’m going to vomit.

But then, as soon as he gets in and I see him again, I’m kind of like, ya know, it’s grand. I just see how calm he is. He just has it in the bag then.’
