On Saturday afternoon news emerged that the middleweight bout between Uriah Hall and Vitor Belfort would not be taking place due to Hall not making the scales to weigh in.
There was no other information given by the UFC. Soon after the news broke, however, UFC flyweight Paige VanZant sent her prayers to Uriah Hall after being horrified at what she had witnessed at the weigh ins earlier on Saturday.
Please send Prayers up for @UriahHallMMA scariest thing I have ever seen. 🙏🏼

Uriah Hall was transported to a local St. Louis hospital. Unclear at this time what exactly happened or how he’s currently feeling.

It is unknown at this time what sort of condition Hall was in, with the UFC still yet to make a comment on Hall’s condition.
Fans were quick to tweet their concerns for the fighter following what is a worrying development.
Hope he is okay

Sad to see fighters going to these extremes to make weight, hopefully they will change rules soon enough before more people hurt themselves

Let’s hope the former TUF finalist gets well soon.
