Uriah Hall did not weigh in ahead of his UFC St. Louis meeting with Vitor Belfort and as a result, the fight has been scrapped as the card’s co-main event.
You really have to feel for Vitor Belfort on this one.
Following the news that the legendary Vitor Belfort was to make his final appearance inside the octagon at this weekend’s UFC St. Louis, it has now emerged that his opponent Uriah Hall did not attempt to weigh-in during the official weigh-ins for Sunday’s event.
UFC has made it official. Uriah Hall vs. Vitor Belfort is officially off #UFCSTL. Belfort's retirement fight will have to wait.

For Belfort, this must be a particularly tough pill to swallow given the time and emotional preparation needed to get ready for what would have been his swansong but still, if he is looking to compete again, he will be forced to wait until a later date.
Hall had been pointed to as a very tough matchup for the aging Brazilian given his proven ability as a finisher and while nothing has been made clear to us yet about his reasons for not stepping on the scales, UFC St. Louis will miss the added level of intrigue this fight would have undoubtedly brought to the table.
