UCC Soccer Release Promo Video Ahead Of Historic Cup Clash With Dundalk

It’s been a dream year for all at UCC Soccer, with the university obliterating opponents en route to an unprecedented treble of inter-varsity honours, securing the Harding, Crowley, and Collingwood Cups. However, they face their toughest challenge yet when League of Ireland Premier Division champions, Dundalk FC, travel to the Mardyke.

The EA Sports Cup Quarter Final on Monday, May 18th will be a historic day for the students, as the cream of the LOI travel to the Rebel County looking to progress to the final four.

However, UCC won’t just roll over and have set their focus on upsetting the odds with a remarkable coup. The entire college is behind Noel Healy’s team, the last non-league side left in the competition, and they’ve sent out a call to action for people to support them when Richie Towell & co. walk out onto the Mardyke turf on that special night.

Kick off at The Mardyke is 8pm and admission is available at the gate. You won’t want to miss what could be an incredible underdog story.
