Eoghan O’Gara has been named in the Dublin starting lineup for Sunday’s Leinster SFC final against Kildare.
The Templeogue Synge Street forward emerged from the bench to score a goal in the 4-29 to 0-10 demolition of Westmeath in the semi-final, and has been rewarded by manager Jim Gavin with a starting berth in the final.
Rather than it being a straight swap, however, rather a personnel rejig has been carried out. O’Gara comes in for defender Johnny Cooper, with James McCarthy dropping back into defence to make way for O’Gara at full forward.
Elsewhere, there is still no place in the lineup for Bernard Brogan who is named among the substitutes as are Kevin McManamon and Paul Flynn and Philly McMahon – the latter returning from an injury that kept him out of the Westmeath destruction.

Elsewhere there are few other changes – Diarmuid Connolly is suspended and will remain so until next month.
Kildare, for their part, named an unchanged starting fifteen on Friday night from that which saw off the challenge of Meath in the semi-final.
Throw-in at Croke Park on Sunday is at 4pm.
