Tom Parsons suffered a horrendous injury while in action against Galway almost a month ago.
The midfielder left the field of play in the second half at MacHale Park with a suspected dislocated knee, following an accidental collision with Galway’s Eoghan Kerin.
The awful scenes were offset by a tremendous rallying of support for Parsons, with the attitude of the man himself endearing him to many.
Teammates, Opponents, Supporters, and all you GAA people.. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for all the Messages of support and Best Wishes at a rough time. "My Comeback will be Stronger than my Setback" 🙏

Mayo’s football team were hosted by Limerick today at the Gaelic Grounds, and while the visitors routed Limerick in a 5-19 to 3-7 victory, the highlight of the day was reserved for the scenes prior to the Round 1 Championship qualifier.
In supporting his teammates, Parsons attended the game, and was present for a standing ovation upon taking his seat at pitchside.

The Charlestown Sarsfields man underwent the first of what is expected to be a series of surgeries a few weeks ago, and the unfortunate injury has ruled him out of the rest of the season.
