The Full 2019 GAA Championship Draw

The draw for next year’s GAA championship has been made and from it, we have some fantastic matchups to look forward to.

The layout for next year’s provincial championships has been confirmed as the draw took place on RTE this evening.

Connacht’s championship will see Mayo open up again New York as they look to finally bring home All-Ireland glory this campaign.

Quarter-finals:

New York v Mayo

London v Galway

Leitrim v Roscommon

Semi-finals:

New York/Mayo v Leitrim/Roscommon

London/Galway v Sligo

Munster’s quarter-final draw saw the pairing of Tipperary and Limerick as well as Clare and Waterford. The winner of the former will face off against Kerry in the semi’s while the victor in the latter will take on Cork.

Quarter finals:

Tipperary v Limerick

Clare v Waterford

Semi finals:

Kerry v Clare/Waterford

Tipperary/Limerick v Cork

Leinster’s draw saw the following teams placed together – with the most noteworthy pick of the lot being that either Louth or Wexford will face Dublin in the quarter-finals.

First Round:

Louth v Wexford

Wicklow v Kildare

Meath v Offaly

Quarter finals:

Louth/Wexford v Dublin

Wicklow/Kildare v Longford

Meath/Offaly v Carlow

Westmeath/Laois

Semi finals:

Louth/Wexford/Dublin v Wicklow/Kildare/Longford

Meath/Offaly/Carlow v Westmeath/Laois

In Ulster, we’ll see Tyrone square off against Derry as they attempt to build on their 2018 campaign’s successes – a pairing that makes up just one of several interesting matchups.
