All The Results From The Weekend’s Biggest Club GAA Fixtures

The last two All-Ireland Hurling Club champions went marching on today, as Cuala and Na Piarsaigh overcame Dicksboro and Blackrock respectively.

Cuala were challenged by the Kilkenny champions at times in Parnell Park, but possessed the class required to see out the tie. This is the third year in a row that the Dalkey side have beaten the Kilkenny champions in Leinster.

Cuala now face St Martin’s of Wexford, while Mount Leinster Rangers and Kilcormac/Killoughey will face off in the other semi-final.

Meanwhile, Na Piarsaigh continued their seriously impressive form shown in the Limerick Championship, as they put the Cork outfit to the sword at the Gaelic Grounds on a scoreline of 2-26 to 0-10.

Na Piarsaigh will face Ballygunner in the Munster final, who saw off Sixmilebridge of Clare by the narrowest of margins in Walsh Park.

The most notable football fixture of the weekend occurred yesterday, as Castlebar Mitchels avoided a potential banana skin, by seeing off Leitrim outfit Mohill on a scoreline of 0-16 to 0-11.

Here are the results of the main games around the country this weekend:

Leinster SHC quarter-finals:

Kilcormac-Killoughey 2-15 Castletown-Geoghegan 1-12.
Mount Leinster Rangers 0-19 Camross 0-13.
