Barcelona’s Copa del Rey final victory over Alaves was Luis Enrique’s final game in charge of the La Liga giants.
While in charge of the Catalan club he masterminded two La Liga triumphs, one Champions League win as well as three Copa del Rey victories, but what may come to be his lasting legacy is just how many wins he finished with under his belt as Barca boss.
While success on the European stage and in the league may not have been forthcoming this season, Enrique will still end his time in the Camp Nou hot seat as a legendary manager.
As illustrated by this Sky Sports tweet in the moments following Barcelona’s cup triumph, Enrique found a winning formula at the club which may be difficult to recreate once he leaves:

Whoever does take charge after the summer has an exceptional foundation in place though, with stars like Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Neymar, Gerrard Pique and Andres Iniesta all surely still pivotal pieces of the jigsaw no matter who takes up residence in the Catalan capital.
