Bristol City have confirmed the loan signing of highly-rated winger Ryan Kent from parent club Liverpool.
The 21-year-old joins the Championship outfit following loan spells with Barnsley and SC Freiburg most recently.
Having failed to make a real impression at the German outfit, however, the Robins will now take the 21-year-old in temporarily as cover out wide for Republic of Ireland international Callum O’Dowda, who continues his rehabilitation from an ankle injury suffered in November.

Bristo City also recently lost another option on the flank in Jonathan Leko, who has been called back to parent side West Brom early after signing a season-long loan deal in August.
With O’Dowda anticipated to make some form of comeback between now and the end of the season it will be interesting to see whether or not the 22-year-old will see his place being filled at club level or whether or not the two will in fact play together towards the latter stages of the season.
Either way, the England youth player offers the club a talented option out wide as they pursue an outside chance of glory in the Carabao Cup, in which they trail Manchester City 2-1 heading into the semi-final second leg, as well as the league where they sit well positioned in fourth place.
