A Serie A title, a Champions League Final and of course, two goals in a triumphant World Cup Final, all in the space of eight weeks, the summer of 1998 truly belonged to Zizou. His dominance of the beautiful game led to the footballing legend winning the FIFA World Player of the Year and Ballon d’Or.

While all Ballon d’Ors are welcome and incredible achievements, the dominance with which Zidane won his in 1998 was ‘incroyable‘.
