Cork City will face either FC Salzburg of Austria or KF Shkendija of Macedonia in the final qualifying round of the Europa League should they defeat Rosenborg over two legs.
John Caulfield’s men will likely not be looking past their Norweigan opposition but should they get the better of Rosenborg then they will only be one round away from the competition’s group stage.
The Airtricity League champions will certainly be hoping to avoid the Austrian outfit FC Salzburg who reached the final four of the Europa League last season.
FC Salzburg will be favourites in their Champions League qualifying tie with KF Shkendija, with Cork City potentially facing the losers of that clash.

If Cork do reach the final qualifying round then the first leg of their tie with either FC Salzburg or FK Shkendija will take place on the 23rd of August with the second leg a week later on the 30th.
The Leesiders received a bye into the Europa League third round following their Champions League qualifier defeat to Legia Warsaw.
