Paris Saint Germain visited Parkhead tonight with some of their summer signings in Neymar and Kylian Mbappe making their Champions League debut for the club.
Their domestic form has been outrageous, as the attack of the aforementioned Neymar Jr and Mbappe as well as the none too shabby duo of Edison Cavani and Julian Draxler have been prolific on the scoring front, scoring 19 goals in their first five games.
They continued this form tonight with their trip to Scottish champions Celtic, scoring three goals in the first half, effectively putting the tie to bed.
However, the main focus of attention at the half time break was not the three goals, but the fact that one Celtic “fan” managed to gain access to the pitch as PSG were celebrating their third goal, which came via an Edison Cavani penalty and tried to kick Mbappe, who had scored his sides second goal.
Fortunately, he missed, and was escorted from the pitch by stewards. While it is a comical incident upon reflection, surely questions have to be raised about the standard of security at Parkhead.
