Paulie Malignaggi has left no room for misinterpretation with regard to a potential MMA bout with Conor McGregor.
Speaking at a Glasgow event last Friday, Conor McGregor stated that he would be willing to take Paulie Malignaggi on in his next bout if the former world champion boxer was willing to step inside the Octagon.
Justifying his callout, McGregor highlighted the fact that Malignaggi had claimed that the Irishman was lacking ‘balls’ and, if that was the case, the boxer should be willing to step inside the cage to prove as much.
However, Malignaggi responded with a valid point of his own highlighting the fact that their initial feud concerned what went on in boxing sparring matches and as such, a boxing match should settle it.
The 36-year-old took to Twitter on Tuesday evening to drive home his point, sending out a string of tweets regarding McGregor’s latest comments. However, there were some interesting takeaways from the rant with Malignaggi unequivocally stating that he will never fight in MMA but that he would be willing to fight the ‘Notorious’ at any weight with any glove size in boxing.
